Collection: PASHMINA KANI SHAWLS

Kaani is a traditional Kashmiri shawl woven on a double-twilled loom using small bobbins, locally known as kaani. The designs are colour-coded and meticulously woven into pashmina, with each bobbin representing a different hue. This intricate process can take anywhere from two months to two years to complete. Nayakarts is proud to work with a small group of master weavers who continue to preserve this rare and exceptional craft.
